Our client is a platform for food factories and a logistics firm focused on oil produce. The client is supported and funded by AfDB and various multinational investment firms. They now have an opening for a People Operations Lead - Akwa Ibom.

Job Profile 

● Handle all logistics & organization around recruiting world class talent - both industrial &
   knowledge workers
● Enforce in the building of a culture of continuous improvement and professional
   development for all team members from citizens to upper level management

Key Responsibilities

● Scheduling & setting up screening interviews & on-site interviews for all potential new team members (both industrial & knowledge)
● Managing the schedule for interviewees during their on-site process - including airport travel, accommodation & feeding, various site visits,third parties part of the interview process & various interview materials
● Ensuring that all members of the organization structure are carrying out their professional development (PD) chats on time, submitting necessary feedback and tracking improvement
● Providing management w/ synthesis of organization wide PD chat results and
   making initial recommendations based on our operating culture & principles
● Innovating around ways to improve the internal culture of the organization
● Innovating around our hiring practices to strengthen and expand hiring pipeline


Requirements


Skills/Qualities

● Superior communication skills across a variety of mediums (Email, Whatsapp,
   LinkedIn, Google Docs/Sheets, Basecamp - bonus)
  •    Extremely responsive
  •    Able to use both Laptop & mobile for strong professional communication
  •    Able to lay out clear implications for management
  •    Comfortable w/ Gsuite use
● Strong use of excel/google sheets to create powerful & intuitive CRMs for managing
   processes

● Ability to lay out goals for other team members & ensure people even in more senior
   positions adhere to that schedule
  •    Calendar management skills necessary

Experience/Qualifications

● 2 years experience in executive assistant/role supporting senior management
● 2 years professional experience using large suite of digital tools
