Job Description

The Sales Development Consultant is responsible for an independent, proactive search for potential clients, cold calling, telemarketing, and qualifying individuals based upon their decision-making ability, financial capacity and need/desire for purchase of medical equipment.
This role involves communication with German companies.

What you get to do in this role:

• Establish, develop and grow new business relationships over the telephone with influential contacts within Key Accounts in Germany
• Working towards daily, monthly & quarterly KPI metrics such as Calls Made, Talk Time, Appointment Setting
• Meet or exceed Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales objectives.
• Leverage existing relationships into projects, departments and divisions to identify new opportunities to pass to the Field Account Executives
• Facilitate resources necessary to further sales cycle such as Solution Consultants, Customer Services, Marketing etc.
• Provide timely and accurate information to management such as forecasting, territory plans, business objectives etc.
• Utilize and leverage internal technology to manage marketing leads effectively and in a timely manner
• Effective Data Management through internal and external sources such as CRM, social media, search engines and press
• Follow a clear and defined Qualification Process.
• "Once in a blue moon" travel for training and/or meetings may be required.
• Develop and present proposals for individualized product assessment, and organize, follow up and manage the prospect universe for each territory opportunity recording all interactions with potential Owners.
• Drive the initial evaluation and qualification of the customer opportunity, accomplished through a series of verbal and/or written consultations, while simultaneously utilizing third party resources to verify that the opportunity makes good business sense for the company to explore - the evaluation and qualification stages involve independent research and analysis by the Sales Consultant to help them fully understand the scope of the opportunity;
• Develop, define and execute segmentation strategy for potential Owners and segmentation planning to uncover new business opportunities

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales Development Consultant will have:

• Fluent German language essential and English Speaking.
• A demonstrable track record of success within a telemarketing, lead generation, cold calling or new business sales capacity
• Bachelor´s Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications or similar disciplines;
• 2-4 years' related work experience; within a sales driven with prospecting and closing responsibility's
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft.
• A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
• Excellent listening, verbal and written skills
• Excellent relationship building skills – Ability to build meaningful business relationships with customers, prospects and internal colleagues
• Persistent and dependable, especially with deliverables and deadlines
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods if needed.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to ever changing situations and working with different personalities; Self-motivated and service minded;
