Our client is an FMCG Multinational Company actively present in 30 countries. They currently have an opening for a HR Director Ghana (Accra)

Job Profile
Manage and coordinate the assigned HR team in Ghana, in accordance with the policies defined at a Regional and Corporate level, assuring an efficient and quality service for all the business areas. Fully integrate the Human Resources function, in accordance with the policies defined by Regional and Corporate, to contribute to the development of the business and/or operations/finances assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the general activity policies and guidelines in our Ghana Business, supervising their compliance in all the Business Unit and Functional Units to assure compliance with the strategic objectives.
  • Supervise and manage the teams in the HR Ghana team to guarantee their correct optimum functioning:
- Training
- Selection
- Workplace Risk Prevention
- Labor Relations
- Administration, Payroll and Control
- Organization & Compensation and Benefits
- General Services
  • Prepare and supervise the management information of the assigned areas for decision making
  • Identify development needs within the organization to proactively provide improvement solutions
  • considered appropriate.
  • Advise the organization in aspects regarding the assigned HR areas to provide specific knowledge of
  • each area.
  • Prepare and control the approved budget for the assigned areas to identify and correct deviations
  • Actively participate in the definition and development of HR Department internal projects to guarantee their success.

Requirements

 
  • Bachelor’s degree and specific education in HR management 
  • Experience in an HR Manager/Director role (10-15 years)
  • Good understanding on the different areas under the scope of HR
  • SAP HR experience beneficial but not mandatory
  • English mandatory. French valued
