They currently have an opening for Treasury Officer - Accra

The ideal candidate will assist the Treasury Manager in the management of banking relations, cash and electronic 

payments, monitoring of expenditure, preparing bank reconciliation statement and financial/management reports.

Requirements

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

• SAP knowledge and Data analysis with the use of spread sheet (Microsoft Excel).

• Experience with accounting software; Knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and Tax laws.

• Knowledge and understanding of treasury, banking and electronic payment systems.

• Prepare instruction letters to banks and financial institutions, Manage foreign trade bills file and documentary collection from banks.

• Manage daily communication with banks to confirm cheques and other issues.

• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments in SAP.

• Monitor bank transitions and prepare bank reconciliation statement, Prepare expense analysis reports on petty cash, financial cost, cost centres, etc.

• Monitor financial markets and provide updates on interest rates, forex rate, inflation, etc. Maintain bank correspondence and payment files.

• Check, inspect and verify daily cash transactions and undertake physical cash counting.

• Perform other treasury assistant functions and activities to the treasury department.
