IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE IN MEDIA/ADVERT SALES AT A TELEVISION OR RADIO STATION IN LAGOS OR WILLING TO RELOCATE.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales management capacity within broadcasting / media / advertisement industry;
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, a Masters is highly desirable;
- Skilled in the art of networking;
- Ability to display creativity and innovation;
- Conflict management and negotiation skills;
- Understanding of the Nigerian mass media market (competition, trends, major advertisers, regulatory aspects, etc.) is highly desirable;
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach;
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Pro-active and able to solve problem;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel or Google Apps;
- Experience in establishing and managing customer relationships;
- Must be effective at making verbal and written proposals;
- Right attitude to work in a challenging and dynamic environment;
- Account Management skills (getting and analyzing customer's requirements for offer preparation and contract negotiations);
- Proven business development manager who is used to working to targets;
- Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry;
- Client oriented approach, drive for Results;
- Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
