Vacancy: Recruiting for a Business Development Lead HSE


Our client is a major player in the HSE space and are looking to take on a Business Development Lead at their Lagos office.

 

Job Location: Island, Lagos.

 

Job Overview:

We are looking for a goal-oriented Business Development Lead to be responsible for identifying sales prospects and leads, pitching and selling goods and services as well as maintaining good relationships clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients .


Your key role includes but is not limited to:

❖ Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

❖ Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

❖ Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and negotiating deals.

❖ Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objective s

❖ Prepare business proposals ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

❖ Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition

❖ Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs

❖ Researching business opportunities and viable income streams

❖ Following industry trends locally and internationally

❖ Planning and preparing presentations

❖ Communicating new product developments to prospective clients

❖ Overseeing the development of marketing literature

❖ Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

❖ Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

❖ Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

❖ Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

 

Requirements

❖ Records of proficiency in sales pitches, initiating and closing deals while managing relationships.

❖ 2-3 years relevant experience preferably from Manufacturing / Engineering / Servicing or broader Heavy Industrie

❖ Market knowledge

❖ Communication and negotiation skills

❖ Ability to build rapport

❖ Time management and planning skills

❖ BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
