Responsibilities
● Evaluate client needs and assist in drafting proposals for new business/projects.
● Projects within the Cloud Computing Practice the architectural design and implementation of Cloud-based technologies
● Provide discipline, technical expertise and recommendations in assessing and implementing new software projects.
● Provide routine reports to clients and management on status of project tasks and associated deliverables.
● Identify/develop additional upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
● Gather and document client requirements to establish project scope and approach.
● Create system design and functional specifications for all new application projects.
● Configure and deploy Cloud Solutions for Business for enterprise customers.
● Migrate users, groups and data from legacy systems to their preferred cloud solution.
● Provide end-user training and/or support as required per project scope.
● Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot performance of deployed solutions.
● Write technical procedures and documentation for deployed solutions including end-user guides and process manuals.
● Assist client technical resources with application configuration and management.
● Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally.
● Provide after hours and on-call support as needed.
● Notify management of increasing trends, unusual activity or repeated activity.
● Use analysis of customer interactions to drive operational improvements to support organization and product functionality.
● Identify any training/knowledge needs for clients and colleagues.
● Prepare and perform training of clients and colleagues.
● Collaborate with senior-level personnel within Support, Sales and Deployment teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and advocate for feature developments.
Requirements
Experience Previous work experience as a Deployment specialist or similar role specifically
● Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering or related field.
● 3+years of experience in Configuring and deploying cloud solutions for business for enterprise customers.
● Sound understanding of how various systems work and how IT operations are managed.
● Hands-on experience with migrating users, groups and data from legacy systems to cloud solutions.
● Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
